Overview

Our client based in Barnsley - Wombwell is looking for a number of experienced production operatives to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Rotating shift: 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm / 10pm to 6am

Pay Rate

£13.40 Per Hour

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly, packaging, and labelling of products while maintaining legible records for quality control. This role will include some manual work.
• Operate machinery effectively and efficiently within the production function of the business.
• Monitor production lines, inspect output quality, conduct basic testing, document quality checks, and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
• Pack finished products, label, and prepare them for shipment or distribution. This may involve palletising, stacking, strapping, and wrapping goods.
• Be able to learn how to use measuring equipment such as tapes and verniers.
