Overview

Job Title: Production Operative

Hours of Work: 44 hours per week (18:00-6:00)

Location: Paignton

Role and Responsibilities
  • Working in a small team within all sections on the production floor to include machine shop, welding, fitting and glazing
  • Using air powered tools to secure hardware to the frame
  • Use of self-standing windows fabrication machinery
  • Rotating section work to ensure multi skilled working and provide cover for staff absences
  • To provide high quality standards throughout the build
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg on own. Above this weight additional personnel will be provided as in line with Health & Safety standards
  • Adherence to all organizational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
  • Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
  • Represent the organization in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
  • Promote and display the Epwin Core Values.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, but not essential
