We're Hiring! Production Operative | Location: Sandwich, Kent | Position: Full-Time | Permanent

Shift Rota: 5 days out of 7 (Sunday to Saturday)

Salary: Up to £28,446.60 per annum

Our successful & well-established client is expanding and looking for a dedicated, proactive Production Operative to join our growing team. Based in our modern, GMP-compliant facility in Sandwich, Kent, you'll be part of a business at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovation.

What You'll Be Doing

In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you'll help manufacture high-quality pharmaceutical products by:

  • Setting up, operating, and cleaning production equipment
  • Carrying out batch manufacturing, including mixing, weighing, filling & packaging
  • Completing accurate GMP documentation ("Right First Time" approach)
  • Following SOPs and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Reporting and documenting deviations or non-conformances
  • Keeping the production area clean and audit-ready
  • Liaising with QA and engineering teams for seamless operations
  • Taking deliveries, managing stock levels and inventory rotation
  • Performing basic troubleshooting and routine equipment checks
  • Supporting production targets, continuous improvement, and best practice
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated or pharmaceutical environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Physically fit - this role involves manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work a 5-day shift rota (Sunday-Saturday) including weekends
  • UK work authorisation required
