Overview

We currently require a Production Operative / Grinder for our client in Newry, to carry out a variety of activities within the production process.

Our client is regarded as the foremost manufacturer in their industry, focusing on quality, innovation, reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Use appropriate machinery such as a grinder, in the manner instructed to process components/products to meet production requirements.
• Move and position components/products using overhead crane or other lifting equipment.
• Ensure that optimum performance and required quality standards are maintained through to finished product stage.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment in safe working order and in peak production condition.
• Ensure all health & safety systems and standards are adhered to and drive commitment to a safe working environment with a high standard of general housekeeping.
• Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by the Managing Director.

Experience / Qualifications

They aren’t fixed on formal qualifications as they would prefer to hear from those with production or factory experience looking for a fantastic opportunity in the Newry area, although Full training will be provided.

Typical hours

Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:45

Pay rate

Pay rate: 21 Years old and over @ £13.21hr, 18-20 @ £11hr, 16-17 @ £8.55hr
