Job description

Overview

Do you thrive on the opportunity to work as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment? We have an exciting opportunity for four dynamic and hard-working Production Operatives to join our team at our Coventry site, on a permanent basis.

You will work on a varied shift pattern, including standard, long and short weeks, but with the benefit of always finishing no later than 4.35pm.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the production line maintains the highest standards of quality for all PVCU products to agreed timescales, while maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
• Work as a multi-skilled Production Operative with the ability to support other areas of Production as required; there is an element of heavy lifting and repetitive movement.
• Adapt to a varied shift pattern and contribute to continuous improvement within the production process.
• Take advantage of opportunities to get involved in additional activities and initiatives as applicable (charity endeavours, first aid training, and potentially becoming a fire marshal).

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working as a General/Production Operative.
• Basic understanding of metric and imperial measurement systems and usage of measurement equipment.
