Spider is advertising on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business who are looking for a full-time or part-time, permanent Production Operative to join their team based in Woolpit, Suffolk.
This organisation is a respected manufacturer within the signage and POS industry, known for producing high-quality, bespoke products with precision and craftsmanship at the heart of everything they do. With a busy and collaborative workshop environment, they take pride in delivering durable, visually striking solutions for a wide range of clients.
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality signage and POS products. This is a hands‑on workshop role involving cutting materials, applying graphics, operating tools and machinery, and assisting with general production tasks. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to ensure products are manufactured to the highest standard. Working hours are 40 hours per week (FTE), working 8am – 5pm, with flexible working hours and part time hours available.
As a Production Operative, you will be reliable, hardworking, and comfortable in a practical, hands‑on environment, with strong attention to detail, the ability to follow production instructions and work safely with tools and machinery, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and the confidence to work independently. Desirable qualities include a forklift licence, experience in signage/manufacturing/woodworking, or an interest in developing technical production skills.
