Overview

Our client is looking to add a hands‑on Production Operative to their team to support increasing demand and help deliver consistently high‑quality output Redditch | Full‑time | 40 hours per week | Temp to Perm | £12.50-£13.50 per hour

This is a temp to perm role, a permanent opportunity is there for the right person.

The role

You’ll be working in a busy production environment, operating machinery and supporting the full manufacturing process—keeping quality high, output on target, and standards tight.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00

Breaks

Two 30‑minute unpaid breaks per day

Key responsibilities

• Operating machinery across a range of products
• Setting up machines, feeding materials, and adjusting settings to maintain smooth production
• Troubleshooting basic issues and escalating faults / breakdowns to the Operations Manager
• Carrying out basic TPM activities
• Meeting daily output and productivity targets
• Completing regular quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications
• Maintaining records and preparing basic documentation where required
• Keeping machinery and work areas clean, tidy, and organised
• Working safely in line with Health & Safety procedures
• Communicating with other departments when needed
• Supporting other tasks to keep operations running efficiently
