Working Hours
Option 1 (38 hours/week)
  • Monday - Thursday: 06:30 - 16:30
Option 2 (37.5 hours/week - Night Shift)
  • Sun, Mon, Tue: 16:30 - 05:30
The Role

As a Glass Fibre Operative, your main responsibility will be to support the manufacturing of parts within the glass fibre department.

Key Duties Include
  • Manufacture parts as per specifications in the glass fibre area.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, following Work Manual Procedures (WMPs) and instructions from the team leader.
  • Safely operate plant machinery and various hand tools related to the manufacturing process.
  • Comply with all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Undertake any required training or retraining due to new working practices.
  • Assist in training other team members when necessary.
The Requirements
  • Experience in manufacturing or construction industry.
  • Minimum 3 months' experience using hand tools (e.g. brushes, rollers, DIY tools).
  • Ability to read and understand Work Manual Procedures.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to undergo or provide training as needed.
  • Awareness of general Health & Safety practices.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing shift patterns.
