Job Title: Production Manager

Salary: Up to £73,000 depending on skills and experience

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing assurance that you and your team are trained and compliant with all relevant internal, legislative, regulatory, and contractual requirements
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with your team, peers, customers, suppliers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Provide senior Management with timely feedback on concerns that may affect productivity and overall engagement levels
  • Acting as a coach and mentor to the broader team
  • Management and delivery of the strategic plan for your business unit
  • Challenge existing practices and implement continual improvement in processes, tooling, and methods of working for your business
  • Resolve non-conformance, inform stakeholders and where necessary issue escalation in timely manner to relevant stakeholders/key decision makers for your business area

Essential:

  • Management and leadership skills

Production Manager - Radar

As a Production Manager for the Radar business at Cowes, your role will be pivotal in ensuring that product is produced Safely, On-Time, To Cost and Conforming to our Quality systems. This role will require you to support the development of your teams to meet individual development goals and future manufacturing needs, you will also need to liaise with multiple functions in a matrix organisation to ensure the customer needs are understood and met.

You will create a safe environment, challenge existing beliefs and support transition to new ways of thinking to embed new habits. Through coaching conversations, you will encourage the constructive behaviours to flourish to support a continuous improvement culture.
