Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days)

Job role / duties

• Ensure safe working practices are used at all times
• Provide engineering breakdown support for the shift production teams ensuring operational downtime is kept to a minimum
• Use root cause analysis tools to support one-time fix solutions for repeat failures
• Identify cost saving opportunities through energy, maintenance & material streams
• Ensure maintenance paperwork is kept up to date for all site works
• Support in developing preventative maintenance programs and improvements to support asset reliability
• Reactive maintenance / breakdown on both electrical & mechanical machinery
• Fault finding on Mitsubishi PLCs
• Some working at height (up to metres)
• Some fabrication / welding
• Support preventative maintenance initiatives

To be considered you MUST

• Have experience of maintenance engineering within an environment of high-speed production equipment
• Hold a formal engineering qualification at level 3 or above in either an electrical or mechanical discipline
• Be a current or previous licence holder for MEWP / FLT
• Ideally possess PLC experience in fault diagnosis / programming.
• Have a broad spectrum of maintenance ability
