Line Leader - Food Production

Location: Bellshill, Scotland

Hours: Monday to Friday | 5:15am - 1:45pm

Pay: £13.68 - £14.42 per hour + overtime

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Line Leader to join a fast-growing food production team at a state-of-the-art facility in Bellshill. The successful candidate will oversee daily production line activities, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate production lines to meet daily output targets
  • Monitor quality and safety compliance throughout the production process
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain line efficiency
  • Keep detailed production records and reports
  • Train, supervise, and support production team members
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Communicate regularly with the Production Manager regarding progress and challenges
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a production line leadership or supervisory role preferred but not essential
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as tablets and software
  • Understanding of food production standards and best practices
Desirable
  • Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments
  • Access to personal transport (public transport available)
Overtime Rates
  • Monday to Saturday: 1.5x hourly rate
  • Sunday: 2x hourly rate
