Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a market-leading manufacturing organisation to assist with their search for a Production Improvement Engineer.

Our client are seeking an electrically biased Production Improvement Engineer, or an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer who is keen to further develop their skills in continuous / process improvement.

Overall Purpose
  • Based within the company clean rooms you will take a hands on approach to implementing quality, throughput and process standardisation improvements to existing production processes.
  • Utilise mechanical, electrical and electronic skills to provide support and training to production and maintenance staff in the setting up and standardisation of equipment and resolution of breakdowns.
  • To work collaboratively with the production team and others as required.
Key Duties
  • To be the first link to production when dealing with process issues which may occur - working with teams and departments to suggest ways to move forward and overcome.
  • Analyse existing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist designers in the development of new products when requested, including the writing of new assembly sequences.
  • When required assist in the implementation of new products in accordance with the relevant SOP for Product Development.
