A leading design and build consultancy in the United Kingdom is looking for a Head of Workshop to oversee operations within the workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating teams and managing logistics while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. About the Role

A studio‑based role requires a Head of Workshop leader to join a design & build and manufacturing consultancy that creates world‑class scenic construction for events.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day workshop operations, scheduling, and resource planning.
  • Coordinate with Carpentry, Scenic, Metalwork, and Project teams to keep projects on track.
  • Manage logistics, including vans/trucks, storage, and material flow.
  • Lead and support the Workshop Lead, Facilities & Safety Coordinator, CNC Operator, and Van Driver.
  • Maintain high standards through QC checks, pre‑fits, and safe working practices.
  • Ensure the workshop and yard remain safe, organised, and compliant.

Working Details

5 days per week role on‑site with no hybrid work offered.
