A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior Production Controller & Logistics Manager to join a highly customer centric, successful, international automotive component manufacturing business in Northamptonshire. This exciting opportunity for Production Controller and Logistics Manager will require a particular skill set as the scope of the role is wide and varied. You will be a naturally energetic, motivational leader with drive and passion in what you do, capable of creating a collaborative team ethic and developing that positive environment. In its simplest form, responsibilities range from managing inbound supply, the storage of component parts, the logistics and movement of these around the site and then coordinating outbound delivery. Meticulous planning and the ability to identify efficiencies around material flow and storage will be a prerequisite. 5s, Kaizen, Six Sigma experience will be a huge advantage.

It is essential that you have experience within an automotive manufacturing environment, hold exacting standards when it comes to quality and health and safety and are looking for an opportunity to raise the bar when it comes to fostering a culture of sustained excellence. As you will be working inter-departmentally, and liaising with a number of stakeholders, you be a natural communicator, engaging, professional, pro-active and analytical with the ability to influence in supporting the development of the vision of the company.
