Role: Production Associate

Ideal for candidates based in Fife and West Lothian & surrounding areas. Glenrothes or Livingston site options (role only on-site due to production work). Permanent/full time. Start: Mon 13th October 2025. Shifts: Day and Night Shift options available (please say preference during application stage).

Training: usually 1st 5 weeks at Glenrothes. Interview Assessments will be held at Glenrothes site (usually 3-4hrs Mon to Thur). Successful candidates will need to provide availability for Mon to Thur interviews if selected for the screening stage. Interviews to be held in August/September. Interview dates are subject to team availability. Assessments do not take place on a Friday.

A great opportunity to join the Raytheon UK Production team at our on-site factory producing high quality electronic products for the Aerospace and Defence industry working in a Manufacturing Production team. You'll receive on-the-job training at our in-house training school for the first 5 weeks. This role can open doors to future opportunities in Manufacturing.

  • Successfully complete BPSS baseline background check if offered a role (permanent UK residency is required for the checks)

This role is on-site, in a factory/lab/manufacturing cell environment using a range of electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and a microscope.

Shifts and Training

Training shifts will be similar times adjusted to the training schedule. Dayshift - Start / Finish times Mon-Wed (07:30 till 17:18) Thurs (07:30 till 17:06). Nightshift – Start / Finish times Mon-Wed (10:00 till 07:00) Thurs (09:30 till 07:00).

During the 3.5hr interview assessment, candidates selected for interview will complete the following tasks essential for this role: Eye Test (including colour blindness test); Skills test following instructions, health & safety guidance; Interview (please be prepared to explain why you have applied for this role highlighting your skills and experience relevant to the role with relevant examples).

*Please note it is an essential requirement of the role to pass all 3 assessments highlighted above on the day.

This role is ideal for candidates from a technical background, those who have completed a similar Production Operator role, previous factory/manufacturing/engineering experience etc. Other skills/experiences that are transferable for the role will also be considered. This role is also suitable for Higher Education college or university graduates looking to start a career in Manufacturing or in a mechanical/electronic/production industry.
