A leading semiconductor manufacturer in Manchester is looking for Days Production Assistants. This 6-month fixed term role offers a pro-rated salary of £33,825. Responsibilities include operating advanced equipment in a clean room to produce microchips and maintaining documentation. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in a production setting is beneficial. You will gain valuable skills and the potential for permanent employment based on performance.
We are now expanding our team of Days Production Assistants to work from 7am to 7pm on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. This is on a 6-month fixed term basis. In return, you will receive a salary of £33,825 (pro-rated) including your shift allowance.

The hiring process:
You will be part of a large team crucial in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices in a high-volume, high-tech wafer fabrication area. You will follow written instructions in operating sophisticated equipment in a clean room environment to produce our finished silicon microchips. Nexperia’s chips are used in everyday products such as mobile phones, home appliances, smart wearables, electric vehicles and more.

Combined salary of £24,511 plus a 50% shift allowance equating to £33,825 (pro-rated) per annum, 24.5 days annual leave pro-rated + rostered days off and enrolment onto the Nexperia pension scheme at up to 9% employer contribution.
