A leading manufacturing company in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking Production Operators to improve operational performance while ensuring quality and adhering to health and safety practices. Responsibilities include following production schedules, maintaining safety regulations, and participating in skill development training. A full‑time position with a salary range of £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience, and a start date of ASAP. The role involves remote work with travel to various locations.
Maintains and continuously improves operational performance, standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety. Follows the production schedule to ensure jobs are produced in the required sequence and ensures the quality of all work before it is sent to the next process or the final customer. Participates in training to maintain and improve the range of skills and knowledge required to meet the ongoing needs of the business. Ensures the health and safety of people within the area covered by the job holder by following safe & healthy practices and meeting all company, site and legal occupational health & safety requirements.
