A global logistics company in Southampton is seeking a Customs Product Owner to oversee product backlogs and define requirements for a next-generation customs platform. The ideal candidate should have expertise in customs procedures and be proficient in documentation tools like Jira and Confluence. This role offers opportunities for training in product management processes and operates under a hybrid work model. Competitive compensation is provided.
We are looking for a Customs Product Owner to join our product team to support the design and delivery of CNS’s next-generation customs platform (CDMS). This role is critical to translating customs regulations, product, and operational needs into well‑defined, structured product requirements that drive successful product development and delivery. As a customs-domain specialist, the candidate is expected to apply deep expertise in customs regulations, Import and Export customs process and compliance practices, and market/competitor customs solutions to define product scope, guide customer‑centric solution design, and support regulatory and product‑related decision‑making.
The successful candidate will own and manage the product backlogs, working closely with the Customs Product Manager, BAs, and offshore development teams to ensure product features are delivered to spec, on time, and in line with regulatory needs. For a successful candidate who does not have existing product development experience, we will provide full training on product management and development processes.
Location: Southampton (Hybrid)
Hours: Monday – Friday – 9am – 5.30pm
