Description & Requirements

The Climate, Nature and Sustainability Regulations team is looking to hire a product manager. The team is responsible for developing solutions that support Bloomberg clients in their workflows related to climate change, nature and biodiversity, and regulatory compliance. We build differentiated content to enrich the Terminal experience and aids in crafting enterprise products that will result in direct revenue, coordinating across the Bloomberg business and functional areas including various Core Product, Engineering & Data teams, UX, Bloomberg Intelligence, Bloomberg NEF, Enterprise Data, Enterprise Products, Analytics and Sales.

The Climate, Nature and Sustainability Regulations domain is a fast-developing area as investors are looking to manage the financial risks from climate change and nature-related factors such as deforestation, whilst aligning with various regulations including the SFDR, CSRD, green taxonomies, and ISSB disclosure rules. You will take on product development responsibilities ranging from crafting a vision and strategy for their product, methodology development and user testing, close collaboration with engineers and data analysts for product implementation, as well as go-to-market strategy.

We\'ll trust you to:

  • Define and communicate your strategy and vision for a specific product domain
  • Work closely with engineers and data analysts to deliver differentiated products that help our clients make better financial decisions, factoring in climate- and nature-related risks
  • Work with collaborators across the organization to ensure our products are accessible where they can have maximum impact, including portfolio and screening tools, and enterprise solutions
  • Work with experts to ensure products are in line with the latest science and best practices in the areas of climate, nature and sustainability regulations
  • Build quality assurance and governance processes for your products that align with the best possible standards

You\'ll need to have:

  • 8+ years of product management experience
  • A strategic mind set and the ability to represent plans to senior management and across teams
  • Demonstrated record in implementing a product or solution end to end, from vision to execution, including influencing and driving product strategy
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with key development partners in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working cross functionally with engineering partners
  • Affinity the Climate, Nature and Sustainability Regulations space
