Overview

Product Manager with an extensive background in networking (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba etc) is sought by a data & digital innovation company based near Birmingham. With a 30-year history of delivering end to end digital and telco solutions for a national client base this individual will help define a high-level product delivery strategy as the business scales up over the next few years.

Utilising 4 years plus of experience working with a wide range of managed services across networking and security alongside a solid understanding of the product sales & business lifecycle this Product Manager will play a key role in new product introduction and go to market strategy overseeing service delivery and business delivery (marketing, sales, revenue forecasting etc).

This role would suit a Product Manager or pre-sales consultant who is comfortable operating at an enterprise solution level but who wants to escape the bureaucracy of the corporate world.

This Product Manager based near Birmingham should have most of the following key skills:

• At least 4 years experience working in a Product management role within the managed services space
• Strong general understanding of a wide range of networking & security (cisco, juniper, SDWAN, Aruba etc)
• In-depth understanding of the industry landscape
• Proven experience working on multi product client portfolio's
• A sales mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities
• Experience creating and delivering a go to market strategy
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to become a real thought leader internally
• Proven ability working with cross functional teams to deliver complex products ideally from MVP to support
• Any experience working within the manufacturing, defence or security sector would be a plus
