Job purpose

This is a critical role to help ensure that our global portfolio of products remain compliant, continue to offer fair value, and meet the needs of their target market. The focus is on overseeing product approval, managing governance processes, maintaining documentation and risk registers, and ensuring regulatory compliance through effective reporting and control activities. As well as undertaking regular reporting to ensure the ongoing health of the product portfolio. This role will be working with a range of stakeholders to support the successful delivery of key initiatives related to Product Oversight and Governance.

How you’ll help us make health happen:

  • Oversee day-to-day product governance processes, including policies, risks, and controls. Initiate regular reviews and, where appropriate, lead on testing to ensure positive outcomes for customers and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all product policy and process documentation is maintained and enhanced as required to meet regulatory obligations, including management of shared information repositories, process maps, manuals, and guides.
  • Contribute to the oversight of an effective Product Approval process, ensuring that both the team and wider business have access to necessary tools, templates, and support.
  • Assist in the successful delivery of annual Fair Value Assessments to ensure products continue to provide fair value to target customers, managing resulting actions through to completion.
  • Maintain the product risk register to ensure identified risks and associated controls are regularly reviewed and assessed in accordance with business requirements.
  • Produce monthly ILPM reporting, providing key product performance metrics to monitor and support the ongoing health and performance of the overall product portfolio.
  • Provide relevant information and metrics for reporting purposes, and liaise with other Risk, Control and Governance teams regarding risk and control management, incident management, and related matters.
  • Support product input into internal audit and assurance reports, manage closure of any actions, assist with key control testing (pertinent to Product Governance), and help deliver associated improvement plans.
  • Contribute to the development of robust product governance frameworks, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Assist in the completion of executive attestations and support relevant assurance activities

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Experience with a range of customer-focused products or services, ideally in regulated, global environments.
  • Background in regulated sectors, preferably with FCA or Financial Services exposure.
  • Strong understanding of Product Governance and related regulations. Proactive and eager to learn, with an inquisitive mindset, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and commercial skills; adept at interpreting data to spot opportunities.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
  • Clear communicator with strong presentation and storytelling abilities to engage stakeholders.
  • Specific knowledge of healthcare and PMI/IPMI products and markets

Benefits

  • 25 days holiday, increasing through length of service, with option to buy or sell
