Role Description

Allianz has a fantastic opportunity to join our family of talented people in the 1st line Regulatory Standards team as a Product Governance Analyst.

Providing value to our customers through the products and services we provide is crucial, not just to meet our regulatory responsibilities, but more importantly to ensure that we meet the reasonable expectations of fair value and good outcomes of our customers.

In order to assist us in achieving this, an opportunity has arisen for a Product Governance Analyst. Working directly with the Product Goernance Manager, this role provides additional support in ensuring that customer value is maintained throughout the lifecycle of all of Allianz Commercial's products, as detailed with our Product Oversight & Governance Standard (POG).

Salary Information

Circa £50k

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

Location: The position is located in our Guildford Office and follows a hybrid working arrangement where you are required to be in office 40% of your time

About You
Ensuring our provides provide fair value to our customers:
  • Monitor and update as required Allianz Commercials framework of product oversight & governance controls to ensure regulatory compliance and good customer outcomes.
  • Interpret regulatory and legal developments to ensure Allianz Commercial continues to meet its regulatory responsibilities in relation to product and customer value.
  • Ensure that the product oversight and governance principles that Allianz Commercial must comply with are adhered to.
  • Conduct an annual review of the POG manual to ensure it remains compliant with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Co‑ordinate and oversee the product review process across Allianz Commercial ensuring a risk prioritised approach in line with internal and external requirements.
  • Provide commentary on product analysis following the annual lifecycle reviews to ensure our product suite provides customer value, meets customer needs and removes exposure to any identified customer harm.
  • Oversee any corrective actions relating to Commercial products through to resolution.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely escalation to 2nd line functions where appropriate.
  • Co‑ordinate any internal or external reviews and audits in relation to Product Value.
  • Support the product walkthrough process to ensure products are communicated appropriately to our customers

Work across Allianz Commercial to support the ongoing development of a customer value culture.

Essential Skills
  • You will have experience in a compliance or regulatory role within a regulated Financial Services company with Commercial Insurance knowledge desirable.
  • Compliance or Insurance qualifications are preferred as well as a good knowledge of FCA rules and guidance.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex or technical information in a simple way and when required the ability to Influence and negotiate.
  • You will demonstrate a proactive approach and the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels and external customers.
  • You will have the ability to interrogate data, identify trends and articulate your findings in an engaging and easily understandable way.
