Job summary

A leading technology company in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled professional experienced in bench testing and debugging with lab instruments. The role involves developing automated test scripts, analyzing statistical data, and updating product strategies based on memory specifications. Ideal candidates have a BS in a related field with significant experience, along with strong communication skills to work effectively across teams globally.

Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of experience in relevant field.
  • Proficiency in lab instrument usage for debugging.
  • Experience with FPGA design flow is a plus.

  • Submit patterns for bench data collection and perform debugging.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Analyze statistical data for volume results correlation.

Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Pattern submission for bench data collection and perform debug with lab instruments when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks for efficient data collection and analysis.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Memory specifications and trends to inform product strategy and direction.
  • Statistical data analysis to post process volume results for data correlation across Process corners and outlier analysis.
  • Takes responsibility for isolating the issue to a specific area such as test gap, SW bug, silicon bug, or process deviation using bench setup.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong experience on bench testing and debug skills with lab instruments usage.
  • Strong understanding of Memory protocols such as DDR5 and LPDDR5.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers.
  • Experienced in Linux environment, data analysis and scripting languages ( e.g. Python, Perl ) for automation and data processing.
  • Strong communication skills, including data presentation and works well in a group environment that spans across continents.
  • Experience with FPGA design flow is a plus.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • BS in EE, CS, ECE or related field; MS preferred. 10 or more years of experience
