Requirements

The ideal person

  1. A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of impactful UX/UI design work
  2. Experience in leading or significantly contributing to all stages of the product design process
  3. A deep understanding of design systems and principles, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects
  4. Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design decisions clearly
  5. A commitment to staying user-focused, leveraging research and data to drive your designs
  6. Proven ability to contribute to or define UX strategies that align with business goals and user needs
Desirable Skills
  1. Proven experience designing engaging, user-centered digital products with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design processes
  2. Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  3. Expertise in building and maintaining scalable design systems for consistency and efficiency across projects
  4. Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles to create universally accessible products
  5. Proficiency in conducting and analyzing user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to inform and validate design decisions
  6. Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with developers and bridge the design-development gap
  7. Strong grasp of Agile and Lean UX methodologies to thrive in iterative design and development cycles
  8. Experience with behavioral psychology and data analytics to influence and refine user experience strategies
  9. Ability to effectively present and justify design decisions using evidence-based approaches
  10. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation platforms
  11. Proficiency in design tools and prototyping tools such as Figma
  12. Ability to mentor and inspire junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture
  13. A passion for staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in UX/UI and digital product design
On any given day you might
  1. Work within a network of teams model
  2. Lead product teams across multiple projects
  3. Define the details of UX/UI requirements and size them appropriately
  4. Create and deliver user experience strategies in simple, inspiring and impactful ways
  5. Work with multi-discipline teams to bring products to life and quickly overcome challenges
  6. Explore and communicate design concepts for digital products, using artefacts like userflows, wireframes and prototypes
  7. Run experiments to validate and iterate your design concepts
  8. Act as day-to-day discipline expert for resolving complex and tricky user experience and interface design problems on projects
  9. Strive to set and maintain product design standards and inspire our customers
  10. Take an active interest in your design discipline, always with your finger on the pulse and you proactively seek to share the subject with the broader team
You bring
  1. 3+ years experience in designing for web and mobile
  2. Strong experience with MacOS, Figma, Framer (Optional), Adobe CS and Google Docs
  3. Solid remote team experience
  4. A good understanding of user centred design, human centred design and systematic design principles
  5. An advanced level of English
  6. Basic experience with motion design (this would be a plus)
