I am working with a RCT based manufacturing business who are looking to add a product designer to the team. Now part of a larger group and experiencing significant growth - including recent major public‑sector contract wins - the business is investing heavily in new product development and expanding its in‑house design capability. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of inflatable safety and rescue products
  • Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings
  • Support prototype development and testing activities
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility
  • Conduct basic engineering calculations and material assessments
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem‑solving discussions
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree qualified in engineering or product design
  • 2+ years experience working in a design role
  • Experience working with Autocad and Solidedge27377/610
