Sea Global are proud to be partnering with one of the most well respected Maufacturing companies globally. They are currently in the midst of an exciting period, which has resulted in this brand new, Procurement Specialist vacancy.

Ideally from a Manufacturing of Heavy industry background but they are open to people from other industries if you have a good base of end-to-end procurement experience.

The role is reporting into the Head of Procurement, providing a very exciting opportunity for someone to come in and learn from an experienced leader in their field.

Role & Responsibilities
  • You will play a key role in driving procurement strategy through high-quality market insights.
  • Lead and support on procurement including sourcing, spend analysis, spend reporting, supplier performance monitoring, procurement compliance, and vendor risk management:
  • Analyse global markets, evaluate suppliers, and stay on top of competitor moves.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives by ensuring that all purchasing activities are priced fairly and appropriately.
  • Partner with the wider Procurement team to deliver cost analysis and optimise competitiveness.
Experience & Requirements
  • Five plus years experience in procurement, ideally across a range of raw materials but open to other categories
  • Proven expertise in gathering and interpreting procurement-related market intelligence and data
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and analytical ability
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, or pricing models
