Procurement Manager

This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days per week in the office. You can choose to be based at one of our locations: Chesterfield (Future Walk), Stockport (Highbank House), or London (Farringdon).

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, you will lead sourcing strategies for goods and services, delivering exceptional value and mitigating risk across complex, high-value contracts.

  • Develop and implement sourcing plans, tenders and negotiations in line with policy and timelines.
  • Manage end‑to‑end tendering processes for large‑scale contracts.
  • Support internal stakeholders, understanding their needs and aligning with company strategy.
  • Contribute to category strategies and collaborate across procurement teams for maximum impact.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and provide insights to drive value and reduce risk.
  • Apply expert negotiation skills and act as a commercial escalation point.
  • Take ownership of your development and support others in theirs.
About You
  • CIPS Qualification or currently working towards this.
  • A proven track record in developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Strong ability to build stakeholder buy‑in and deliver results.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at pace and meeting challenging deadlines.
  • Skilled in programme and change management with practical application.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and experience resolving contractual and commercial issues.
