Location: Global (with flexibility) | Global Procurement

Global Procurement is transforming its partnership approach with the business and suppliers. The team aims to build a best-in-class procurement function delivering strategic value. We are seeking a Procurement Lead – Category Management to join the leadership team.

The Opportunity

Sitting within the Materials, Manufacturing & Capex Procurement Delivery group, you will shape and embed a global approach to Category Management. This senior, strategic role involves:

  • Defining and leading the Category Management framework across Global Procurement.
  • Developing best practices, processes, and tools for category strategy development and execution.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, coaching and enabling procurement managers and stakeholders across functions, business units, and geographies.
  • Ensuring alignment with procurement strategy, digital initiatives, and business priorities.
  • Driving adoption, capability building, and continuous improvement within procurement.

Who You Are

We seek an experienced procurement leader with:

  • 10+ years’ experience in global procurement, specializing in strategic sourcing and category management.
  • A proven track record in leading procurement transformation, developing frameworks, and enabling adoption at large organizations.
  • Experience in a matrix, global environment, preferably with manufacturing, materials, or capex categories.
  • Familiarity with digital procurement platforms and a commitment to innovation and agile practices.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
