A leading UK university is seeking a proactive Procurement Coordinator to deliver procurement expertise within a dynamic finance department. The role involves managing supplier relationships and supporting category management efforts for various estate services. Success in this position requires excellent attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and experience in procurement in a busy environment. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, offering a salary between £26,707 to £30,378 per annum, with a hybrid working option available.

This is an excellent opportunity to deliver top quality service to a dynamic and busy department, and to contribute to the overall customer and student experience at the University.
This role is to provide procurement expertise and assistance to the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain (Estates) to ensure effective supplier management and sourcing of services and materials to meet a high demand for the supply of stock and non-stock materials, to conduct low value tenders and assist the Category managers in conducting tenders for Estates categories.
The Estates Procurement team delivers end to end procurement for the Estates department and manages the following categories: Estates Works and Consultancy, Estates Maintenance and Supplies, Estates Services, Transport, Utilities, FF&E.
We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated individual to work as a Procurement Coordinator, as part of the Procurement team which supports the Estates Office operation.
