Procurement Administrator
Location: Leeds, LS11 (Hybrid, work up to 3 days from home)
Salary: £36,000
Hours: Mon-Fri, Full-time (flexible working hours)

Role Overview

The Procurement Administrator provides essential support to the procurement team by managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and supplier agreements. This role is key to enabling efficient purchasing processes and delivering value to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
  • Update supplier details and pricing information in procurement systems.
  • Assist with invoice matching and resolving discrepancies.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm delivery schedules, and resolve queries.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate communication.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Prepare reports on purchasing activity, spend analysis, and supplier performance.
  • Support the procurement team in tendering and contract administration.
  • Assist with onboarding new suppliers and maintaining approved supplier lists.
  • Monitor stock levels and raise orders as required.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in procurement or purchasing administration preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
