Your experience as a Process Technician - Multi/Electrician/Mechanic is valuable to us here at Southern Water. Do you have the desire to be part of a team which consists of mechanical, electrical and ICA technicians but also enjoy managing your own workload? You will be somebody who is excited by the prospect of being able to reap the rewards and thrive on job satisfaction.
Using your existing knowledge, you will undertake reactive and planned maintenance of plant and equipment daily in the East Sussex Water Supply region. Other responsibilities will include providing technical expertise to internal and external contractors, managing projects, and carrying out inspections and tests on electrical equipment and assisting in development of other projects.
Every day is different, you will be working in all conditions carrying out and a range of tasks, to ensure the essential functions for the Wholesale Water directorate can operate to maintain a fresh water supply to our customers. Although work is generated to you on a weekly basis, you will be managing your own time, giving you the freedom and flexibility to design your own working week, you will continue to be organised and proactive.
You do not need to have a background in Water. We would welcome applications from candidates outside of the sector, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas.
You will need to be: Level 3 NVQ qualified (Multi/Electrical or Mechanical). *Any applications that do not have the above qualifications will not be considered*
