Clark Wood is partnering with a highly regarded independent firm of accountants in Worcestershire, seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Partner to lead and grow their Private Client Tax Services team.

This is a senior-level opportunity for an ambitious tax professional with strong expertise in trusts, inheritance tax, and agricultural tax matters, looking to play a key role in shaping the firm’s advisory services and driving growth.

The Role

• Lead private client tax advisory projects, focusing on trusts, estates, inheritance tax planning, and agricultural clients.
• Provide expert advice on complex client portfolios, including high-net-worth individuals and family businesses.
• Oversee review and sign-off of personal and trust tax returns, ensuring technical excellence.
• Advise on cross-border tax matters, HMRC enquiries, and offshore structures where required.
• Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm’s advisory services and increase revenue.
• Support and mentor senior tax professionals, fostering team development and leadership.

The Candidate

• CTA qualified (STEP qualification desirable).
• Extensive technical knowledge in private client taxation, particularly trusts, estate planning, and agricultural tax.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain high-level client relationships.
• Commercially minded, with experience in business development and revenue growth.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
