Location : Congleton or Macclesfield

Salary : Competitive, dependent on experience

Contract : Full-time, permanent

Experience Level : 3–5 years PQE or equivalent

About the Role

Puro Associates are partnering with a respected regional law firm to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive. The successful candidate will join a supportive and well‐established team, handling a full spectrum of private client work while contributing to the firm’s ongoing growth and development.

You’ll manage a varied caseload, advising clients on wills, probate, powers of attorney, estate administration, and trusts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a personable and motivated lawyer seeking long‑term career progression within a friendly, high‑performing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own portfolio of private client matters, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in line with professional standards.
  • Deliver clear, compassionate, and commercially sound legal advice to clients.
  • Meet agreed billing, time‑recording, and cash collection targets.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, referrers, and colleagues to generate new business opportunities.
  • Participate in marketing and networking activities on behalf of the department and firm.
  • Support junior fee earners or provide cover for colleagues when required.
  • Maintain thorough and compliant records using the firm’s case management and document systems.
  • Contribute positively to team meetings, business planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
