A respected law firm in Halifax is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to manage a varied caseload in Wills and Probate. The role offers a supportive environment with a focus on client care and professional development. Ideal candidates will have over 3 years PQE and strong technical knowledge in private client matters. Benefits include 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, enhanced sick pay, and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Managing a mixed caseload of Wills, Probate, Estate Planning, LPAs and Trusts.
  • Delivering clear, tailored legal advice to clients.
  • Drafting Wills, Trusts and associated documents.
  • Handling estate administration matters from instruction to completion.

Skills

Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate and Estate Planning
Excellent communication and client care skills
Ability to manage files autonomously while being a team player

CRA Consulting are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected, long-established law firm based in Halifax as they look to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their successful Wills & Probate team. Role Overview

The successful candidate will handle a varied and high-quality caseload of private client matters. You will be responsible for providing expert advice across the full spectrum of Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, LPAs and Trusts. The firm offers a friendly working environment where client care and professional development are genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a mixed caseload of Wills, Probate, Estate Planning, LPAs and Trusts
  • Taking comprehensive client instructions and delivering clear, tailored legal advice
  • Drafting Wills, Trusts and associated documents
  • Handling estate administration matters from instruction to completion
  • Building strong relationships with clients, referrers and colleagues
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards
About you:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive ideally with a minimum of 3 years PQE or greater
  • Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate and Estate Planning
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Ability to manage files autonomously while being a team player
  • STEP qualification or working towards it is advantageous but not essential
