The Role

The firm is seeking to hire a Private Client Partner based in the firm’s Dorking, Surrey office.

You will oversee, lead and drive forwards the firm’s private client department, working closely with the equity partners across the firm’s other offices that includes Mayfair, Essex and South London.

You will drive this department into the future, working with the wider leadership team on strategy and planning. You will take a lead at mentoring and training more junior members of the team.

This role has good prospects for equity partnership in the future.

You will run a private client caseload, which will be good quality and include HNW work. The caseload will include wills, probates, estates, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and tax advice.

You will be well supported in the role but will also have the autonomy to make the role and office your own.

  • You should be a Private Client Solicitor with at least 7 years PQE (there is no upper limit on the amount of PQE required)
  • You should ideally have experience of management
  • You should have leadership qualities and skills
  • Salary is very negotiable depending on your background and level of experience, plus an excellent bonus structure depending on the office’s performance
