Paralegal – Private Client

Location: Ellesmere Port (Office‑Based)

Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (DOE)

We are looking to recruit a Paralegal to join our clients Private Client team at their Ellesmere Port office. This is an office‑based role supporting one fee earner, who works three days per week, therefore the ability to work independently, confidently, and proactively is essential.

The Role

You will provide full paralegal support within the Private Client department, handling a varied and rewarding caseload. The role will involve regular client contact and responsibility for managing matters from opening through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Probate matters
  • Speaking with clients professionally and empathetically, both in person and over the phone
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents
  • Opening and managing files using the LEAP case management system
  • General administrative and paralegal support to the fee earner
  • Ensuring files are kept accurate, compliant, and up to date
About You
  • At least 1 year’s paralegal experience (Private Client experience beneficial)
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confident with document preparation and client interaction
  • Experience with LEAP or similar case management systems is advantageous
