Overview

Jark Stevenage are urgently recruiting for a Printer for a Stevenage printing company. This is an established company with strong growth and excellent prospects of progression. This role is a temporary to permanent position for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Siat L33 or L36 printing press to print customers' designs onto self-adhesive tape.
• Convert jumbo rolls into smaller hand rolls with the design printed onto them.
• Set up and operate a semi-automatic machine, take finished goods from the press, and replace with fresh cores.
• Read a job card and understand the artwork/proof for each specific job.
• Print onto the top surface of material using solvent-based inks.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: £25k to £28k per annum (depending on experience).
• Hours: 7am – 4pm (includes 20-minute tea break and 30 minutes for lunch).
