Print Manager

The Company

Job Specification

As Print Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of our print hall. You’ll lead a skilled team, ensuring that production targets are met while driving improvements in quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This is a hands‑on leadership role where collaboration, problem‑solving and safety focus are key.

The Role

To manage and lead 4 x Shift Leaders and their skilled printers, operating a 4 x 12hr shift pattern (2 x days, 2 x nights) on a 24/7 basis, as well as pre‑press operations and ink store.

• Responsible for delivering productivity targets, whilst ensuring customer demand is achieved
• Drive and improve key KPI’s with Team engagement to improve results
• Provide a forward thinking continuous improvement approach to safety, quality & productivity
• Manage and lead the Team ensuring optimum Staffing levels, recruitment, training and development
• Manage and develop the print team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Implement quality control measures to meet stringent customer requirements.
• Drive improvements in delivery performance and product consistency.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction.

The Person

• Extensive experience within fast paced Flexo‑Print Manufacturing Environment, operating within regulated, demanding market sectors
• Previous experience of managing a large teams
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent IT skills and familiarity with ERP and Machine Data Capture systems
• Ability to be able to communicate and influence key stakeholders around the business.
• Proactive, positive, enthusiastic – demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude
