  • The capability to project manage small to medium-sized projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Technical experience should include:
  • Preparing and reviewing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Environmental Statement chapters
  • Building, running, and interpreting outputs from Junctions 10 and LinSig software
  • Knowledge of highway design standards including MfS, DMRB, LTN 1/20, and an understanding of the requirements of Active Travel England and Healthy Streets
Additional responsibilities and experience include:
  • Supporting business development activity and building strong client relationships, particularly within the South West
  • Assisting with negotiations and attending meetings with Highway Authorities
  • Preparing fee proposals for new projects and managing project budgets
  • Mentoring, inspiring, and supporting the development of less-experienced team members
  • Holding or working towards TPS, CIHT, or CILT membership

The consultancy offers structured training and development, including a bespoke mentoring programme and payment of two professional membership subscriptions.
