Overview

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Principal/Associate Structural Engineer, to be an active member of a well-established structural engineering company, in a permanent position. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site from our client's office, located near Crawley. As a part of this role, you will be responsible for a variety of Domestic and Commercial projects, as part of a skilled team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee a variety of domestic and commercial projects of varying sizes.
  • Collaborate with, and lead, the design team to deliver coordinated solutions that meet client goals.
  • Assess and inspect structures in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
  • Design using software like Tekla Structural Designer.
  • Ensure quality and consistency in drawings and reports and produce technical reports and structural surveys.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience leading and managing projects and teams from concept to completion.
  • Proficient in applying Eurocodes in design.
  • Strong skills in report writing, communication, and numerical analysis.
  • Proficient in structural analysis, design, and relevant software tools.
  • Chartered or approaching Chartered status (MICE or MIStructE).
