Lead on professional standards within the Care and Support Team, modelling and promoting best practice.
Provide expert mentorship, guidance, and reflective supervision to Social Workers, Senior Practitioners, and Newly Qualified Social Workers.
Oversee the quality of assessments, plans, direct work, and case decision-making across the service.
Offer specialist consultation on complex safeguarding matters, high-risk decision-making, and escalated concerns.
Support induction, training, and ongoing development of new and existing staff, identifying team-wide practice needs.
Work closely with the Team Manager on service planning, quality assurance, and performance monitoring.
Build effective partnerships across agencies—including police, health, and education—to strengthen collaborative safeguarding practice.
Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of new policies, tools, and procedures to continuously improve service delivery.
