Principal Product Manager – Data Foundations

Responsibilities
  • Own the strategic roadmap for core data foundations and BAU data products (e.g., RMP, Pollpass, Chronicle, Export Manager, Autocoding).
  • Ensure data products are reliable, scalable, and commercially impactful, while enabling other team members to focus on innovation and analytics.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Data Product, CPO, and senior engineering leadership to align product strategy with company goals.
  • Operate in a high-tempo, change-friendly environment typical of a growing company.

  • Strong strategic product leadership skills with the ability to operate close to delivery.
  • Ability to balance long-term transformation projects (modernising infrastructure, improving scalability, governance) with short-term BAU delivery.
  • Confidence to lead cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, research, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Attitude: think big, ask why, and show respect to everyone at all levels.
Interview steps

  • First video interview with the hiring managers.
  • Second (and final) video interview with the hiring panel, often including a presentation, followed by a values conversation with members of the wider GWI community.
