The role
This is a great opportunity for a talented Environmental Consultant or EIA specialist to join a collaborative, high-performing team delivering some of the most complex and sustainable infrastructure projects in the UK.

You'll lead the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) across a diverse project portfolio, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and play a key role in both project delivery and business development.

Whether you're based in Bristol, Birmingham, or the wider South West & South Wales region, you'll be joining a practice that offers real career progression, top-tier mentorship, and a shared commitment to positive environmental outcomes.

Your responsibilities as an EIA Consultant
- Lead on the coordination and delivery of EIAs, options appraisals and environmental assessments
- Manage environmental teams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Oversee project programmes, budgets and commercial performance
- Advise and influence on environmental design to secure optimal outcomes
- Support the development of junior staff through mentoring and guidance
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to build strong, lasting relationships
- Lead or contribute to bid writing and business development initiatives
- Keep on top of CPD and remain at the forefront of evolving legislation

- Strong working knowledge of UK EIA legislation and planning process

- Proven ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
- Ideally chartered (or working toward chartership)
