We are seeking a Director in Healthcare to help us become the healthcare consultancy partner of choice and support our ambition to deliver sustainable, innovative change across the public and private sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Autonomously scope and lead complex transformation programmes for clients in the healthcare sector.
  • Build and maintain deep, trust‑based relationships with clients, acting in a sell‑deliver model.
  • Leverage the global Capgemini organisation to drive improved account delivery and client success.
  • Collaborate with the Public Sector leadership team to recruit, engage, develop, and support a diverse team.
  • Contribute to the market offering by drafting propositions and positioning Capgemini Invent as a leading public‑sector management consultancy.
  • Lead business‑development activities, including proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches, and hosting events.
  • Drive internal contributions such as campaign development, think‑tanks, white‑papers, practice development, partnership and alliance work.
  • Support learning and development through training, certifications and other career‑growth activities.
  • Provide NHS consultancy and digital transformation expertise at a senior level, overseeing operational and/or clinical delivery and team leadership.
  • Demonstrate experience in designing and leading large‑scale, complex programme management and transformation initiatives within the public sector.
Qualifications
  • Passion for the healthcare sector in public and private settings, and a strong interest in making a positive social impact.
  • Background from a management consulting practice or equivalent experience in strategy, operational or clinical consulting.
  • Existing experience in a major consulting firm or in industry with a consulting background.
  • Proven ability to succeed within a matrixed organisation, earning support and commitment from peers to sell and deliver solutions.
  • Experience in proposition building and delivery, with a track record of generating at least £2 million of consulting revenue annually.
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven success in business development, generating significant revenue.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of recruiting, engaging and developing a diverse team.
  • Skilled in complex programme design and delivery, including oversight of operations and clinical projects.
  • Adroit at building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

  • Base location may be London, Manchester or Glasgow, with flexibility for assignment locations and willingness to travel and work away from base at short notice.
