We are looking for a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to join their team and help shape the next generation of robust, sustainable infrastructure.
Joining their Civil and Structural Engineering team, you’ll be involved in the design and delivery of a diverse range of heavy civil structures – from complex buried concrete structures and foundation upgrades to critical retaining walls and enabling works for major infrastructure. You\u2019ll have the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, water, energy, and renewables – helping clients solve complex engineering problems with smart, sustainable design.
We’re looking for an experienced engineer with the technical expertise, leadership capability, and design background to confidently guide projects from concept to construction. • Design and deliver a diverse range of heavy civil structures (including complex buried concrete structures, foundation upgrades, and retaining systems).
• Lead multidisciplinary design projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Guide projects from concept through to construction, including leading design reviews, ensuring technical quality, and managing project risks.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders to communicate design intent and progress.
• Apply proactive, solutions-driven approaches to project challenges and ensure compliance with UK design codes and construction standards.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant design codes (UK, Eurocodes) and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with teams across sectors (energy, commercial, water, residential) to solve complex engineering problems.
• Chartered (or near-chartered) status with ICE or IStructE is preferred, with a Masters or Bachelors in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
