A leading infrastructure company in the UK is seeking a Design Engineer responsible for planning and managing design workloads. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, manage design risks, and lead audits for assurance. You should have a professional qualification, CAD experience, and an extensive technical knowledge of design practices. Plan, manage, prioritise and report to the Chief Design Engineer on the design workload in the office in which they work. To help manage the technical function of the business, ensuring that we provide our customers with the best and safest solutions and by providing the best innovative technical support/advice available in the market. To assist the Chief Engineer and Technical Director to achieve best technical governance of our activities. To assist the Technical Director to develop technical excellence in their field of expertise.
