Experience required
Essential
  • Extensive experience in the design, assessment, inspection or asset management of highway structures within the UK.
  • Deep technical competence in DMRB, Eurocodes, MCHW, CDM and relevant legislation.
  • Ability to lead project teams, check designs, review calculations and oversee deliverables.
  • Experience managing project programmes, budgets, resources and quality.
  • Ability to act as a technical advisor and primary client contact.
  • Experience preparing and overseeing AIPs, design reports, specifications, BoQs, PCI packs and H&S documentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Degree / HNC / HND in Civil / Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Typically CEng with ICE or IStructE, or equivalent depth of professional experience.
Desirable
  • Experience signing AIPs or Cat 2 / 3 check certificates.
  • Experience managing GI / PI programmes, capital maintenance schemes or broader asset management strategies.
