This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced and client-focused Structural Engineer to join our structures group. The right candidate will be a key member of our local structural service, helping to expand our offerings across the UK and leading the design of prestigious projects across various sectors.
Collaborating closely with global structures teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for business development with new and existing clients and will lead the delivery of local and international structural engineering projects.
This role includes managerial and leadership responsibilities for developing our local structural engineering team and broader regional structural duties.
The ideal candidate will be a technically-oriented structural engineer or an ambitious team leader with experience in operational and client-focused aspects of the role.
A chartered civil/structural engineer (CEng or equivalent), with a degree in structural or civil engineering, and significant practical design experience in a multi-disciplinary international consultancy environment. Hands-on skills in advanced structural analysis and software such as Tekla and Tedds are essential.
Knowledge of advanced computational design and visual programming tools like Grasshopper is highly desirable.
You should have a proven track record in structural engineering design, experience working on medium to large projects, proficiency in designing with various structural materials, and experience leading projects and maintaining good client relationships.
