Senior / Principal Air Quality Consultant

Location: London

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE

Penguin Recruitment is partnering with a market-leading consultancy to appoint an experienced Senior or Principal Air Quality Consultant. This is a key hire for someone who enjoys technical delivery, client engagement and leading complex air quality and odour projects to time, quality and budget alongside a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team.

What you’ll do

• Deliver air quality and odour assessments using ADMS and GIS

• Produce Air Quality Assessment reports and EIA chapters

• Work directly with clients, engineers and planners on innovative schemes

• Contribute to emerging workstreams (e.g. ammonia, fire dispersion)

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geography or similar

• Industry experience in air quality consulting (Senior/Principal level)

• Chartership / IAQM membership is desirable

• Confident communicator, MS Office literate

• Knowledge of AQ legislation, policy & dispersion modelling advantageous

The role in context

You will take ownership of technical delivery across modelling, mapping and reporting, while leading client conversations and helping to shape planning and environmental outcomes.
