Job summary

A leading educational support organization is seeking a qualified Primary teacher/tutor to join their team in Wokingham. This position offers full-time and part-time options to deliver engaging and personalized lessons for small groups of learners. The ideal candidate will have UK Qualified Teacher Status and experience in teaching, particularly with students who have SEMH or additional needs. This role is flexible and focuses on re-engaging students with education in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Secure understanding of the national curriculum and effective differentiation.
• Experience working with students with behavioural, SEMH, or additional needs is highly desirable.
• A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons for groups of 1‑2 students.
• Provide focused academic and pastoral support to learners with SEMH or additional needs.
• Foster a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
• Help pupils develop confidence, resilience, and positive behaviour.
